Pricing offers two ways to add credits: a monthly plan that pairs tiered tools with a monthly credit pool, or a one-time credit pack that adds credits only. VIP plans unlock specific controls — Custom size, HD output, Advanced Prompt, reference image, batch size, and longer History — not a different “secret Pixelize.” Most people can learn the product on a free account with starter credits. Subscribe when you need one of the gates below; tiers differ by tool access, not only by credits.

Upgrades apply right away with a price difference for time left in the billing period and a matching share of the credit delta. Downgrades take effect on the next renewal.
Credit packs
One-time packs use a simple rate (30 credits per $1) with ready options like $5 → 150, $10 → 300, $20 → 600, plus a custom $3–$200.
Packs are useful for a burst of Pixelize runs without a subscription, or for extra volume on top of a plan.

When free is enough
Stay on free if you:
- Use Auto or fixed aspect ratios at Standard clarity.
- Don’t need custom prompt text or a reference image.
- Only need a short History window.
- Mostly use the free Tools.
Upgrade when you need exact canvas sizes, HD clarity, written control, a reference image, larger batches, or longer History.
Custom size (VIP)
Custom lets you set a width × height instead of picking a preset ratio, within AniPixel’s size limit — useful for a wallpaper crop, a post layout, or any personal canvas size.
- Confirm you need a non-listed canvas size. If Auto or fixed ratios and presets are enough, stay free.
- On Pixelize with VIP, open aspect, choose Custom, and enter width × height within limits.
- Still frame the source so the subject fills that frame — see Pixelize settings explained. A custom size with poor framing wastes the same credit as any other run.

Advanced Prompt (VIP)
Advanced Prompt adds written direction (up to a character limit) on top of the standard controls. Modes include custom guidance and a stronger Override mode that leans much more on your text.
- Use it for a short note — a restrained palette, a lighting mood, or a simple pose emphasis. Avoid long lists of conflicting requirements.
- Prompts do not guarantee exact text, logos, anatomy, accessories, colors, or composition. AI results vary, and Override deliberately leans more heavily on the written instruction.
- Save the original result before experimenting so you can compare versions.
Failure signs: if the output drifts from the upload or invents a new scene, turn Override off, shorten the prompt, or fix the preset / source framing before regenerating. VIP text is direction, not a locked compositor.
Boundaries
- VIP ≠ unlimited credits. Plans unlock controls; packs/plans buy run volume — see Pricing.
- Pack ≠ plan tools. A credit pack never unlocks Custom, HD, Advanced, batch, or longer History. Extra reference images can be paid with credits.
- Tiers are not the same tool set. Free reference quotas are 1 / 2 / 4 on Basic / Creator / Pro. Pro mainly adds retention and optimize headroom. See Pricing for the full breakdown.
- Custom size ≠ free HD. HD on Redraw/Scene is a separate VIP clarity option; Custom only sets width × height.
- Canceling is on Account. Choosing a plan is on Pricing; cancel / resume / update card live under Account (Manage account and subscription).
- Failed generations refund the credit for that image automatically — details in Manage account and subscription.
Common mix-ups
- Pack ≠ VIP. A credit pack adds Pixelize runs only. Plan tools still need a subscription.
- Downgrade is not instant. Upgrades apply right away and you pay the difference for time left in the period. Downgrades take effect on the next renewal, so the current plan stays active until then.
- More credits ≠ higher source fidelity. Plan tiers change tools and how many images can be generated per month, not a separate "Pro quality" model.
- Override ≠ "higher source fidelity." Stronger text can pull the result away from the photo if the prompt fights the image.
- VIP prompt does not replace a readable source. Start from Better source images and a sensible preset.
- Cancel on Account, not by ignoring Pricing. Use Account to cancel or resume.
