Can I convert a photo to pixel art?
Yes, but photos and selfies are not the main use case. Results are more reliable on anime-style art; portraits can work when the subject is clear and the face fills enough of the frame.
How do I convert an image to pixel art?
Open the studio, upload a JPG, PNG, or WEBP up to 20MB, start with the Redraw preset, generate, then download. Each result costs 1 credit.
What's the difference between the AI studio and Pixelate?
The free Pixelate tool keeps your image and makes it blocky. The AI studio redraws it as pixel art with a game-style look. Pick whichever finish you want.
How do free credits work?
New accounts get 5 credits. The studio costs 1 credit per image; failed runs are refunded. Subscribe or buy packs on Pricing. Browser tools such as Remove Background, Pixel Art Scaler, and Pixelate never use credits.
Who owns my uploads and outputs?
You keep ownership of what you upload. You may download and use outputs you generate, subject to rights in your source material and the Terms. The studio sends uploads to third-party AI providers; the free browser tools run locally and do not upload.
When should I use Redraw, Chibi, or Raffle?
