Credits are only for Pixelize. They keep a simple rule on purpose.
The basic rule
1 credit = 1 Pixelize image. If you generate four images in one run, that costs four credits. The Generate button shows the total before you confirm.
Free tools never spend credits
Remove Background and Fix Pixel Grid run locally and cost 0 credits, signed in or not.
Failures
If a Pixelize generation fails, AniPixel refunds the credit for that failure. You’re not paying for empty results.
Where credits come from
- Starter grant — new accounts get 5 credits (see Sign in and free credits).
- Subscriptions — monthly credit amounts on Basic, Creator, or Pro.
- Credit packs — one-time purchases on Pricing.
Your header shows the current balance when you’re signed in. Purchases and usage also appear under Account.
